Honorable Mentions of 2016

These last twelve months have sure been one hell of a roller-coaster. I don’t have to tell you of all the grievous and heartbreaking losses we’ve all endured, but I’d be lying if I said that this past year wasn’t a terrific one for all of metal and rock. Many bands came as they always do, and each one of us has our favorite records. While my personal tops list will come out tomorrow on New Years Day since I find it to be the most appropriate day for such a list, here are my honorable mentions of 2016!

These albums still stunned me and I enjoy tracks from each and every one of these pieces, but they simply weren’t that amazing to be in my personal Top 30, albeit they’re all terrific. Many different styles adorn this list, and please do check out what might interest you!
